Description
Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine. Also referred to as Epithalon, the compound originated from research involving biologically active peptides associated with the pineal gland.
Research involving Epitalon has investigated a broad range of biological processes, including cellular aging, telomere-associated mechanisms, oxidative stress, inflammatory signaling, neuroprotection, and tissue biology. Published literature includes in-vitro, animal, and a smaller number of human investigations. Current research continues to explore the molecular pathways potentially associated with the peptide.
