Description
Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP) is a nine-amino-acid peptide that has been studied for decades in experimental sleep research. Investigations have explored its effects on sleep-wake behavior and sleep architecture, including slow-wave sleep and sleep efficiency.
Historical human studies investigated synthetic DSIP in subjects experiencing disturbed or chronic insomnia, while animal and laboratory studies have examined possible interactions with neuroendocrine and sleep-regulatory systems. These studies provide a research history for the compound but do not establish DSIP as an approved treatment for sleep disorders.
The product is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research. Each vial contains 5 mg of DSIP and is recommended to be reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water.
