Description
Semax is a synthetic peptide derived from a short sequence associated with adrenocorticotropic hormone. Unlike intact ACTH, Semax was developed as a modified peptide intended to investigate biological effects within the nervous system without reproducing the complete hormonal activity of ACTH.
Research has investigated Semax in neurobiology, including neurotrophic signaling, oxidative stress, inflammatory pathways, neuronal survival, and cognitive function. Much of the literature originates from Russian biomedical research and includes animal, cellular, and clinical investigations.
Semax remains an investigational compound in the United States. Its research profile makes it relevant to experimental studies involving neuronal signaling, neuroprotection, and cognitive biology.
Our product contains 5 mg of lyophilized Semax in a 3 mL vial with BAC Water specified as the diluent.
